I’m a little late to the party I know…but I finally jumped on the Energy Bite craze. With so many recipes all over Pinterest and food blogs, I had to test out this rounder version of a granola bar.
As I searched for recipes, I was craving something on the sweeter side. Chocolate was a must. My eyes saw “5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Energy Bites” and I was intrigued.
All 5 ingredients in my kitchen. √
1 bowl clean up. √
No baking, cooking or cutting required. √
I was sold.
The final verdict?
A great option for a slightly sweet, peanuty snack. They’re also packed with filling protein and fiber, not bad for only 5 ingredients. Easily substitute walnuts, raisins, almond butter or other ingredients on hand.
Grab 2-3 for a quick snack on the run, at work or as pre-workout fuel.
