Happy Friday! This past week was on the colder side here in New York, but hoping love, or at least chocolate, on Valentine’s Day brought you some warmth. I’m definitely looking forward to a 3-day weekend. Thank you President’s Day. My plans include SLEEP, CLEANING my apartment and DINING at Mario Batali’s Otto Pizzeria in the heart of Greenwich Village. What are you up to this long weekend?
Taking a look at this past week, here are my Top Picks…… tell me what you think!
Why I love this recipe? It utilizes my overripe bananas (you know those browning bananas sitting on your counter), it satisfies my SWEET TOOTH while giving me nutrients (bananas are a good source of fiber and potassium!) and it cooks up in less than 5 minutes!
Top Food Find (this Cruciferous Crunch Collection from Trader Joe’s)
For our sibling home-cooked dinner this past week, my brother made a delicious salad using this mix of Kale, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, Green Cabbage and Red Cabbage. He added tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado and tossed it with a secret-ingredient, homemade salad dressing – don’t worry, I plan to get the recipe and share it with you all!
